Recommended Uses of  Walnut Timber Finish

WALNUT TIMBER FINISH is a new addition to the AUSSIE CLEAR range and can be used wherever a non-transparent protective exterior stain is required. WALNUT TIMBER FINISH will turn blond timbers into a pleasing walnut brown colour, while enriching and deepening mid to dark toned wood. Suitable applications are: Decks, cladding, fencing, fascia, exterior doors, window frames or furniture that are fully exposed to the weather.

Directions for Use

Ensure a clean dry surface, free from grease, dirt and weathering. Apply GREY DECK CLEANER to weathered timber to prepare it. Badly weathered timber may require a light sand beforehand. If a paint or varnish has been previously applied, sand back the clean bare timber first.

Stir Well Before use as pigments may settle. Apply with a lambswool applicator, brush, roller or spray. On dressed timber, you can control the depth of colour some what by the amount applied. Wiping the timber after woods will lighten it. Any excess WALNUT TIMBER FINISH that hasn’t been absorbed after 1-2 hours needs to be wiped off to prevent it forming a film. If another application is required, then apply after 24 hours and allow 24 hours drying before use.

HANDY TIP – For best results do not apply late in the day when overnight condensation or if rain is expected within 24 hours.
